RSI, Recycling Sciences, LLC, (herein after referred to as RSI) is the manufacturer of the RSI-30 Vac, a 30 gallon tank ( 114 liters) capacity vacuum system. Like all other RSI systems, it is designed to be durable, portable, simple to operate and safe. Truly the only 30 gallon portable vacuum system manufactured today, the RSI-30 Vac will recover, through vacuum, practically all types of solvents. And like all RSI systems, the RSI-30 Vac is also designed to be simple, safe, rugged, fast, economical and versatile.
Simple: The RSI-30 Vac is "Operator Friendly" and as easy to use as other RSI systems. The operator fills the distiller tank with dirty solvent, sets the Fuji controller, places the RSI-30 Vac vacuum tank in place, presses the start button on the Fuji and walks away. The water re-circulator is wired so as to be automatic, the system operates unattended and even shuts itself off when completed. Except for keeping the system clean, there is no periodic maintenance.
Safe: Solvent distillation is controlled by the low-voltage, 'Intrinsically Safe' thermocouples and high voltage components are all housed in exposed NEMA-rated explosion proof housings. The RSI-30 Vac is connected to the exit side of the Tube-n-Tube condenser, the operator checks that fittings are tight and walks away.
Rugged: The RSI-30 Vac is 100% stainless steel for rugged good looks, easy cleanup and extreme durability. All stainless parts are easy to reach and clean, and resist all solvents and most acids for outstanding durability. All parts of the RSI-30 Vac vacuum system are modular and can be easily replaced if damaged.
Fast: The RSI-30 Vac works fast for safe solvent recycling. By connecting the vacuum system to the water-cooled tube-in-tube condenser, the RSI-30 Vac, the operator insures that he will reduce heat‑up time, distillation time, and consequently, energy costs in operating the heater . The RSI-30 Vac provides the most efficient and reliable method for recovering and reusing practically all solvents.
Versatile: The RSI-30 Vac is truly portable. It is mounted on its own casters and can be simply rolled from one department to another with the solvent distiller. Be sure and re-tighten all fittings, both vacuum and distiller, when moved. This system is often used in various departments of facilities to recycle different solvents. (Warning: Users of the RSI-30 Vac, regardless of what other RSI distiller it is used with, are cautioned to provide adequate ventilation so as to not create an explosive atmosphere around the wall plug connection or the cooling water re-circulator)
Economical: The RSI-30 Vac vacuum system pays for itself quickly. Recycling on-site and getting the solvents back for reuse increases profits. Recycling of solvents is even faster with the correct use of an RSI-30 Vac. With the price of solvents going ever upward, and the price of pickup and disposal even more expensive, one does not have to be an accountant to figure out that the purchase and use of an RSI-30 Vac, in conjunction with an RSI distiller, results in a very quick payback to the purchaser.
